LENTILS | DAL AND SAMBAR | Lentils are an excellent source of vegetable protein. Lentils are, however, an incomplete protein and should be combined with rice and different varieties consumed during the week, for a complete protein (or so I've been told). I'm not a nutritionist, so don't count on my limited knowledge to keep healthy. Do your homework! (And then email me and educate me too, she says with a smile). |
